Our Therapeutic Approach
Our therapeutic work is grounded in a strengths-based, cognitive-behavioral approach (CBT), helping children and adolescents develop practical tools to manage anxiety, depression, executive functioning challenges, and emotional regulation. We focus on building insight and coping skills in a way that is accessible, developmentally appropriate, and engaging.
For younger children, we integrate play-based techniques into sessions to create a safe space for expression, problem-solving, and emotional processing. For teens and older students, we work collaboratively to explore thought patterns, build self-awareness, and set achievable goals to improve confidence and daily functioningβboth at school and at home.
We specialize in helping children who struggle with:
Anxiety and worry
Depressive symptoms and low motivation
Overwhelm, disorganization, and executive functioning deficits
Emotional outbursts, trauma or social struggles
School stress or avoidance
Whether your child is navigating big emotions, academic stress, or identity and self-esteem issues, our goal is to give them (and you) the tools to feel empowered and the insight to move forward with clarity, connection, and confidence.
